Background and Approach

Matthew brings a diverse background in construction, mechanical engineering, and remedial massage to his physiotherapy practice. He returned to the University of Otago to complete a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, where he developed a strong appreciation for the importance of restoring patient independence. He believes that patients should be empowered to take an active role in managing their own conditions

Matthew enjoys spending time outdoors, often camping or exploring with his camera in hand. He stays active through bouldering, walking around the mountains, or simply by moving heavy things from place to place. At home, he enjoys keeping fish, experimenting with a charcoal grill, and getting lost in a good book.
